 We hope you are well. We wanted to give you some news about the team before the vacations.

 The launch party for the 6^th annual fundraising of the team Marie notre Étoile on June 18th was a great success, with a shared pleasure to meet over a glass of champagne under a clear sky.

For the 10th edition of the Children without Cancer race organized by the association Imagine for Margo, on September 26th, we have to date collected  46,000 euros (70 registrants) .

This year the fundraising of the race will allow to finance with Belgium, Luxembourg and Italy 5 research programs (2 trials, 3 translational research) selected in the framework of a European call for projects:

• REGO-INTER-EWING - (metastatic Ewing's sarcoma): This clinical trial aims to study the efficacy of a new drug - regorafenib - in combination with traditional chemotherapy, for children with multi-metastatic Ewing's sarcoma from the time of diagnosis, in order to improve their prognosis, which is currently very poor in case of relapse.
• Glo-BNHL: This program will create a unique global platform for early clinical trials in relapsed and refractory pediatric B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) to rapidly identify and make available the most promising new treatments for children with this poor prognosis cancer.
• COMBALK -Neuroblastoma: Identification of new treatments for children with high-risk neuroblastoma resistant to Lorlatinib (ALK inhibitor)
• CARBEMED - Medulloblastoma : This program proposes a new treatment strategy for medulloblastoma that combines a new drug and a cellular immunotherapy called CAR-T cells. The objective is to counter a major resistance mechanism of medulloblastoma and to improve treatment efficacy without
  the side effects of current approaches.
• BEACON-BIO -Neuroblastoma: This international collaborative program aims to find new therapeutic approaches to treat high-risk neuroblastoma. More than one out of two patients relapses after first line treatments; it is therefore necessary to develop more efficient combined therapies thanks to a better knowledge of tumor biology and by identifying groups of patients according to their molecular specificities.

 Do not hesitate to register now for Saint Cloud or in connected mode, even if you only start your collection in August, early September (possibility to switch to connected mode; remember to attach yourself to the team)..

For this 10th anniversary of the Race, many surprises are planned!
