This will be the kick-off of an exceptional auction, hosted by Christie's at the Automobile Club de France, in Paris, where 16 lots donated by the Patrouille de France will be sold, including jackets and helmets, for the benefit of the Imagine for Margo association. The planes will then continue on their way and will fly over the Gustave-Roussy Institute, in Villejuif (94), in order to show the support of the "PAF" to sick children and caregivers during this international month of childhood cancer "Golden September" . "Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children. Every year in France, 2,500 children and teenagers are diagnosed with cancer, and 500 die from it, for lack of adapted treatments, recalls Patricia Blanc, president of the association and mother of Margo, who died of a brain tumor at the age of 14.

Objective: 1.5 million euros

Since its creation in 2011, the association has raised more than 12 million euros for research, allowing more than 3,000 children to benefit from innovative and personalized treatments. After the Covid crisis, which has pushed other pathologies into the background, the objective is to raise at least 1.5 million euros this year through the some 200 events it organizes.
