With the support of the Town Hall of Garches and the agreement of merchants, we were able to set up our stand on the right side of the church for two Saturday mornings
The town hall has supported us because it finds that fighting pediatric cancers is a major cause. In fact, knowing that one child in four hundred develops cancer before the age of 15, many people have at least one story in their entourage. So the town hall has printed leaflets for us and provided us with a stand. It also proposed us to become a partner of the Garches pedestrian race next year.
We went to meet the Garches inhabitants who were touched by the way we operate and by the fact that it is thanks to the action of the families that 30% of the research budget for Gustave Roussy's children's cancers is funded. These two Saturdays made it possible to collect more than two thousand euros.
We would like to thank the town hall for the help provided, and in particular Mrs. the mayor and Mr. Magitteri, deputy mayor in charge of economic development.
A big thanks to the nice folks in Garches (and Vaucresson) for their warm welcome and their donations.
